Vote for child rights

If we all Vote for Child Rights [] and commit to vote for a government that will deliver the rights that children are entitled to, no matter who gets elected, children will win.

Today, unseen, ignored, millions of Indian children don’t go to school, die each year of easily curable diseases, and almost half of all Indian children under five are underweight. In the 21st century, in one of the world’s fastest growing economies, this is unacceptable.

This Lok Sabha election, CRY – Child Rights and You, as an independent non-government organization working in the area of child rights for over 33 years, has developed a Child Rights Manifesto []. We seek your support to collectively urge political parties to focus on the issues affecting the rights of Indian children while fashioning their agendas.

Watch the Vote for Child Rights video. Then, pledge your support for child rights. If you’ve pledged already, ask everyone you know to do the same.

The ChildMark is a yellow dot placed on the index finger of the right hand whenever someone pledges to support child rights. It’s a simple, clear, powerful symbol that shows the world that you are committed to ensuring India’s children their rights.
